Islamabad:27-8-20.The number of active cases of Corona in Pakistan is only 8,803 and the number of patients recovering across the country has reached 279,561, according to the NCOC.
The NCOC reported 425 new cases and 6 deaths from corona nationwide in the past 24 hours, bringing the total number of coronavirus patients in the country to 294,638 and the total number of deaths to 6,274. The number of active cases in the country is only 8,803, while the number of patients recovering across the country has reached 279,561.
According to the NCOC, the number of coronavirus-infected patients is highest in Sindh at 128,877, followed by 96,540 in Punjab, 35,893 in KP and 12,721 in Balochistan. The number of corona patients in Islamabad rose to 15,562, Azad Jammu and Kashmir to 2,272 and Gilgit to 2,773.
According to the National Command Center, 23,441 tests have been performed in the past 24 hours. To date, 2,535,778 tests have been conducted nationwide. 114 patients are ventilated in hospitals across the country. There are facilities for corona patients in 735 hospitals across the country and currently 1,076 patients are being admitted to the hospitals.
